Richard Makin
Wednesday, July 8th, 2009Richard Makin is a writer, poet and artist. His novel ‘Dwelling’ is forthcoming from Reality Street Editions. It has been serialized online by Great Works from 2006-09, under the working title of ‘St Leonards’. This is the second book of a trilogy; the first of these, ‘Work’, was also published serially by Great Works between 2003 and 2006. Poems from his long sequence ‘Rift Designs’ are published in ‘The Reality Street Book Of Sonnets’. He also contributed to the anthology ‘FOIL’ (Etruscan Books). Other publication includes ‘Forword’ and ‘Universlipre’, both from Equipage. Many public readings of his work include the Cambridge Conference of Contemporary Poetry. Exhibition of his artwork includes the Institute of Contemprary Art, The Poetry Society, and The Foundry.
