My contemporary oil paintings are about the natural world whether it be designs on the land, the colour of the seas and oceans or the way the sky may move. I am inspired by almost everything around me; living by the sea, film, music, books, exhibitions - the list could go on forever but if one was to put it in the most general terms I am inspired by life, nature and the human condition.    

The essence of my work captures the shifting elements of the natural world, which assume a life of their own and change accordingly to the context in which they are viewed. My approach is more suggestive than descriptive allowing the viewer to bring his or her own interpretation to each piece.
